Like many immigrants, my journey was not easy. I balanced school while working long hours in fast food, learning the value of hard work and perseverance. At a young age, I found purpose in healthcare and became a nurse assistant — a role I’ve proudly held to this day. Helping and caring for others has been a meaningful part of my life and identity.
